I have the privilege to spend my last undergraduate semester in Florence, Italy. I leave tomorrow. I've been preparing and planning and researching and the day I leave is finally here. I get to live in another country for four months. I'm leaving January 21, 2019 and I'm not returning to the U.S. until May 28, 2019. Although I may be excited, there are a million other emotions swimming around in my body. While our bodies are made of a lot of bacteria, my body is currently full of swimmers. I can't sit still or even think still. I tell everyone that I'm excited, because it would be a little strange and hard to understand if I told them I felt like a billion swimming things were doing the breaststroke in my veins.
Plane stuff done. Although long and a bit stressful it is behind me.
